Dear Families,
Thank you for taking time to come in and visit with your child in class during
visiting month. We look forward to seeing you at Parent/Teacher conferences on April 24 and 25th. There will be not class on those scheduled days. This is a time for parents only, please make arrangements accordingly for your child. It is always exciting to see and hear what new things our children are discovering and achieving.
In Service: Our teacher in service day was on March 14. The staff enjoyed Cheryl Iverson, Program Supervisor of Child Haven, and her topic of “Fish Principles”. Our topic was based on the book by………….,
and encourages support to the families, children and co workers. We appreciate your support in helping our staff to grow together
through our in service days!
Spring Break: Our school will be closed March 31 – April 4 for Spring break.
Enjoy your time with your children! With Spring comes time for more discovery
of nature outside. Please help your child to be prepared to be outside by giving them the appropriate attire. Please send items that are easy for them to put on and take off themselves.
We are unable to leave children inside as all the teachers need to be with their classes. You may pick your child up before outside time if you do not wish for them to be outside.
Muscular Dystrophy Association
Hop A Thon: It’s our annual MDA hop a thon!! Please help raise DONATIONS by collecting pledges from family, friends, and co workers! Your child will be hopping for 2 minutes the week of April 20. Please see your child’s
class newsletter for their date. We will also be having a MDA representative visiting that week to talk with ALL the children
about Muscular Dystophy and how it affects so many children. Let your child’s
teacher know if you would like to come in and help count hops for the day! We
are planning on having Ms. Lissa’s class come over for an all school assembly on Tuesday, April 22 at 9:30 a.m.
Parent Volunteers: Thank you to all who
have offered to help with the events coming up at our school and in classes. We
still have need for some other volunteers. Each location has a sign up sheet
posted for you to review. If you have any questions, please contact me at any
time!
Date Change: Please note the change of date for Ms. Katie and Ms. Grace’s Mothers Day Tea. It was on the event calendar for the 10 of May, a Saturday, and should have been scheduled for the 6th. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Summer Enrollment has started. Please return your yellow registration
form to the office by April 30. Spaces are limited and are designated on a first
come, first served basis. We look forward to a lot of fun in the sun!
